I was ready for some changes as I start taking more art classes and putting more effort into my work. So from now on, everyone can find me as Maeka-chan

is my new account. I may move some of my stuff over, but for the most part I want to start new, especially with some new pieces I'm working on.

Well, I've been absent for most of the summer due to work 5 days a week and numerous other variables. I have been working on some pieces, but haven't really done much concrete. Unfortunately, I believe that is going to continue.

As of yesterday, I am moved into my dorm at FAU and will be starting classes on Monday. I'll be trying my hardest to get settled so I can start practicing and working some more, but we don't always get what we want.

Anyways, there's about 2 pieces that are in the lineart stage right now and another 2 or 3 that are just concepts, but definitely getting worked on.

So, it's officially true. I AM A GRADUATE OF BDALE HIGH SCHOOL AND FINALLY FREE!!!!

Likewise, I am now an official student at FAU (orientation was soooo long) and registered for classes. And I got a single room in my dorm!!!

Life is going good

So right now I'm working the summer camp and fully enjoying spending time out in the lovely sun here in Florida (no, that was not sarcastic, I really enjoy it). My tan is looking fantastic, and even though the children can get annoying, I have fun and goof off with the rest of the counselors while making money for watching kids and getting a tan

Again, awesomeness.

Man, it's times like these I wish I was subscribed so I could have some cool, dramatic, silly drawing to emphasize just how happy I am ^__^ (well actually, I always wish I was subscribed, but sadly, money for college must take precedence)

Anyways, I'm gonna be stepping up my video games and art pieces a lot. I need a lot of practice and I want to try some different styles and make my shading look much, much better.

Anyways, I'll be playing with it for the next few weeks, but anyone that uses a tablet and doesn't mind getting in contact with me and helping me figure some of the less obvious things out, it would be much appreciated XD

Haha, so I have tons of happy good news ^__^

First off, I have finally picked a college, and I've already done my housing application and I'm in the process of doing the tuition payment (that says I'll be attending). I'm really happy and I can't wait until this fall comes around. I'll miss my friends but college is going to be sooo much fun. (Which by the way for those of you that don't know I'm going to be attending Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida)

And secondly, I've finally bought a tablet!!!! A Wacom Graphire4 6x8 and for only 162.99 (and no shipping and handling added!) It'll probably be the end of next week when it gets here but I'm so excited about it!!! I used all of my tax returns to get it (cause, sadly I still haven't sold my prismacolor markers)

But anyways, that's the general good news for now XD I can't think of anything else at the moment. Much love to all! <3xxx
